1st of all, the ingredients are very important. If you plan to eat the skin of dumpling only, then you can forget about the trouble to prepare ingredients. :P
I've prepared 4 kinds of ingredient for my dumplings, they're; carrots, black fungus, meats and "chang dou" (I can't remember name in English :P)
Chop the above mentioned into small pieces. For your information, I've spend one hour to settle them.
I chopped my thumb when I chop the last ingredients. Not bleeding but lost a piece of my skin. :(
When the ingredients turned into small pieces, pour all of them into the wok and cook awhile. Put in some pepper and salt to make it tasty. Yummy.
Come to the final stage, put some ingredient in the center of the dumpling skin and wrap it carefully, make sure it look as nice as the below picture. Ahaha...
Never have the thinking that it's ready to go into our stomach so don't bother about their image. They'll feel happier to be beautiful instead of ugly.
They're a few technics and different shape of dumpling, this is the only two shapes I can make.
Time to let them swimming in the soup. :) What type of soup is not important. If you like tomyam soup, no problem, cook the tomyam soup and let them swim. :)
